Senthil Nayagan
Writer of whatever won't stay in my head
Why Zupday
"Zupday" is a word I made up—a mashup of "what's up" and "day." It's the question I ask myself after pretty much every experience: what's up with what I just went through? What did I learn?
Zupday is where I answer that. A blog about whatever's on my mind—thoughts, experiences, and everything in between.
What This Is (and Isn't)
This isn't a tech blog, and it isn't a niche review site either. It's a space for non-technical, personal, opinion-driven writing that ranges freely: encounters I've had, reviews of things I've bought or used, opinions I'll happily argue for over coffee, and the occasional "what I wish I knew" post.
The promise is simple: what I went through, so you don't have to guess.
How This Blog Happened
This blog exists because, at heart, I'm a chronic note-taker. It started with physical notebooks because, for me, writing something down in my own words is the best way to make it stick. Then I discovered an obvious problem: notebooks don't travel very well when you start accumulating them. So my notes moved to Google Drive, and eventually to WordPress and Medium.
They worked well enough—until ads, pop-ups, and "subscribe to keep reading" started making sharing a few thoughts feel a little too much like running a toll booth. So I decided to build my own little corner of the internet. No ads, no paywalls, no barriers. Just the post, the story, and hopefully something useful or at least entertaining for you to take away.
I read everything that lands in my inbox, even if I'm slow to reply. You can find me at: hello@zupday.com.
